SV Live Chicago Metro 1996

Does anyone have a recording of this show? They played Cheap Trick's "Downed" as an encore and killed it. My copy no longer works, and would really appreciate the opportunity to own it again. Please PM me if you are willing to help. Much appreciated.

I remember first hearing the outtakes from Trace, and really loving both the Boquist numbers. Great songs, and Jay, I suppose, so at home with the country/folk feel to the songs, and musicians, and simplicity of it. I also remember getting the "bootleg" version of Sebastopol prior to its release, an...

Do you think Jay ever gets tired of Windfall and Tear STained Eye? Have those songs ever been absent from a SV set list? I love those songs, but I'd rather see him bring back some other Trace gems (Route, Loose String, Catching On, etc.). Also, no Straightaways or WST tunes.

Will Johnson Tunes with New Multitudes

Haven't seen a set list that mentions the Will tunes played at gigs. Is he playing "Just to What You've Been Dreaming?" That is one of my favorites songs of his, and would like to know if he is playing it with the rest of the quartet. Anybody got a youtube of that?

I am so with the idea that Jay's background harmonies are really great. I am taken more by this than his songs as lead vocalist. Nothing against those songs, but he really adds a lot of color on the harmonies. One of my favorite Jay vocal moments are when he comes in on "Truck Stop Girl" with Kelly ...

I listen to it and remember how it was to listen to real records on a turntable, stare at the album cover, look at the rock stars on the back, and get lost in it. Can't get that via iTunes.
