Re: Jay's next move.......

Regardless if you like him or not Isbell is doing a smart thing by releasing live shows on band camp. I don’t perceive that as selling out. I bet Jay has a ton of live recordings of either Solo or SV shows he could easily release and we would eat it up. Bandcamp is free until you use the pro version...

Re: The Listening Post

Reunions- really good album, he's dialed in his writing style for sure. Caamp- By and By , I second that, excellent. JS Ondara "Folk n Roll" vol 1. his quarantine album is outstanding, check this out! singer\songwriter style. Phoebe Bridgers "Punisher" is on constant replay right now. she's quite lo...

i play it all the time. when mark and jay were touring as a duo they would just tear it up. mark is so sick all over this live album- and the harmonies too.

Re: Richard Thompson Live! (From the Couch)

So genius! I caught him opening for Jason Isbell at the Peace Center in Greenville, SC- just him and a guitar, my first and only time seeing him. It was pretty magical to say the least.

Re: Son Volt RSD 2020

That was a wonderful evening. they had a giant crane camera that would swoop down over us, everytime it did i would look up with a goofy grin. i always thought jay looked nervous that night with all the pressure from filming something that seemed elaborate to me at the time. the place was packed and...

Re: Next Concert You Are Going To

I saw Sturgill a couple years ago in Asheville, he was great, channeling Waylon, etc...

Saw him last week and was like wtf, it was great, he's evolved. bring earplugs. i'm old.

I'm catching Bob Weir this week if that tells you anything
