I assume it's Andrew handling the lead with Jay on harmony on this song? Very enjoyable. Got to thinking, Andrew has been with Son Volt for almost 20 years. By far the longest tenured bandmate Jay has ever had!

Re: Looking for a miracle for a lost friend

I remember when some of you guys did Traced. Some incredible work. Can't remember them all but Vitamins stands out. I had a copy at some point, not sure if I still do.

Re: Son Volt 1997 at the Music Farm in South Carolina

I saw Richard Buckner open up for Son Volt at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis. I guess it was this same tour. Pretty sure Richard was hammered!

Re: Field of Chester

Unfortunately I was unable to attend but a friend did. Sent me a video of Route, excellent as always. Then sent me another text the next morning: "I was drinking bourbon on Son Volt's tour bus" Me: "Get out of here. You were not? With Jay?" "No with Jake's (our buddy's stepson) band. Son Volt wasn't...

Re: Hello Goodbye Revisited

Tokyo Fan, what an incredible coincidence. I just signed up with Apple Music a couple of weeks ago (I absolutely love it and don't know why I waited so long). Anyway, a local STL radio station is doing a Beatles "brack off" and the two songs that were pitted against each other today were Hello Goodb...

Re: WE’RE BACK UP, BITCHES!

I also thought the board was gone forever! Glad to see it back. Was going to give you guys an awesome review of the STL Delmar Hall show on my 53rd birthday, Nov. 23rd. But it was so long ago and I'm so old I barely remember most of it. Oh yeah, they closed the show with Chickamauga. One of my few S...

Quite a bit. They're good. My brother is a huge fan and follows them all over the place. My only complaint is I think a drum kit would complement their sound.
