i have always been more of a lyricist

i obviously need great music too, but for a band/song
to really throw me, i need to be very connected to what
they are saying, not just what they play.

my ACL is never in synch with the rest of the country, for some reason. always at least a week behind. that said, i saw ryan bingham here last week and he put on an amazing show. doug moreland opened and came out for a number of songs on the fiddle. the band has a great time on stage -- great time. ...

i am by far and wide not very technical, but i swore i didn't hear a lick of jay's guitar last night. i thought i was crazy or it was just me. mark spencer was LOUD. so was chris masterson. but the rest of the band was def lacking. i think i finally heard jay during afterglow 61. one of the very las...

wow, that really surprises me. mormonville usa.

i don't frequent mesa, so i have no idea about hotels
or i'd offer up some suggestions.

def make the drive. construction is finally done (past prince rd) on the 10
which cuts the drive time in half it seems.

cowboy junkies closed, so i was SO glad i called. walked into the rialto and about 5 minutes later they were playing. there was very few people there - it seemed nobody even NOTICED the band wasn't there. if they did, they didn't talk about it. i talked to 2 guys beforehand and let them know but the...
