Ryan Bingham would be good too.
Maybe SV will open for Isbell.
I about choked on my almonds on that statement. The day that happens Jay might as well pack it in and go studio only.

Funny how an album that may not even come out this year and no one has heard any tracks from can be album of the year. I doubt it'll be better than this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/6117td1GnqL._SS500_.jpg Oh please. Even the guy who worked on that album said Ready For the Flood bl...

What's wrong with Oasis? Definitely Maybe is a great debut and What's The Story Morning Glory is pretty solid. I know they seem like they are a bunch of whiners, but so does Adams. If they were coming to Florida I would definitely be there. That'd be a great night of music. Wish it was happening in...

there's understandable frustration on the part of some who read and post here. that's okay. we want jay to operate in the same manner as other music websites. therein lies the irony. we are drawn to his music because it's not the standard fare. we attempt to understand his elusive lyrics because so...

East St. Louis, St. Louis, it's all the same right? I know Illinoisians wouldn't want to claim ESL. Jay was born, grew up in Illinois but has lived in stl (currently in Dogtown I think) and has his studio in stl (in the Hill area I believe) for quite awhile. Wonder what Jay's thoughts are on Hwy 40...

third maybe fourth best songwriter to ever come out of Missouri
There's:
Chuck Berry
Miles Davis
Jay
Ike Turner
Gene Clark

I consider Tweedy a Chicago guy, so he don't count.

Rock on.

It gets better with every listen.

I've had to pull back the reigns on it this week so I don't burn myself out on it.

Having Luther on board gives 'em a shot in the arm
Some really good tracks on here and I've only listened to it one and a half times through.

They're one of my favorites and they haven't skipped a beat with Isbell out of the band.

Great lyrics, great guitars, incredible live show.

Some things you either get or you don't and I get these boys in spades.

Just turn it all the way up and pull the knob off your stereo
