Are you an SJSU Spartan? If so, PM me and we can work something out. If not... I don't have time for ya. Just kidding. I have this mag, and I have a scanner. If I had ND #1, I would sell it and buy a small car. I'm at CalPoly SLO but my brother's an SJSU-er. I guess I'll send you a PM in hopes of w...

Anybody have No Depression #36?

I'm doing an informative speech on Jay Farrar for my speech class and it would be awesome to get a nice quality scan of the cover of ND issue #36 and/or some sort of scan/transcription of the feature article about Farrar in the magazine. Unfortunately I need this by tuesday (really need more time fo...

The SS&BL album is actually really excellent among live albums. "Hell Freezes Over" by The Eagles and "The Dance" by Fleetwood Mac are also favorites of mine, even though they're pretty commercial and all that. Frampton Comes Alive deserves mention as well, I listened to that a lot when I was younge...

I'm not religious at all, and I have been, and will continue to be, wary of organized religion, but I liked the pope...most of the time, he seemed to me to be the voice of reason...he represented the good side of religion to me, the power of god and faith being used to bring hope and positive change...

Jeez, that's difficult. I have my flavors of the month, but one album that pops to my mind is Radiohead's Kid A...it really is excellent, and I never tire of it. So I think I'm gonna go for that, but there are so many others I could pick (The Soft Bulletin by Flaming Lips ranks very high as well, al...

Jack Black as Farrar...and Ron Wood as Tweedy...

They're both musicians...boy, wouldn't THAT be a funky take on Uncle Tupelo?

I'm an admin on a relatively busy car forum that's populated, primarily, by people who are younger (average user age is probably in the vicinity of 18 years old) so I get to deal with a lot of retardedness.

I use mp3 tag studio to tag my stuff...although I'm not sure if it will work with flacs. Just rename all your songs in a constant manner (such as Artist - Track # - Title or something like that) and then tell mp3 TS to remove all your old tags and then write new tags based on that expected filename ...

Why does the Farrar board get all these anti-smoking ads? Is the average Farrar fan twenty times more likely to be addicted to cigarettes or something??
