Heavy Metal Drummer - The Band

From The Last Waltz. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJTeAWRcXP0 So I'm watching the movie, then walk in to get a drink from the kitchen, when I hear, in the background, the beginning of this song and start to sing... "I sincerely miss those heavy metal bands...." After the intro, it's not similar at...

I've had the faces - good boys when they're asleep (or something like that) in constant rotation for a couple weeks.

Ohh la la always get a repeat. Actually, most songs on that album do!

Dev - a pedal? That's all you want him to pick up? You could have asked for a cherry SG or a sunburst Tele, or a vintage Gretsch and all you want is a pedal? Crazy, you are. :) That being said, pick me up a Fender Deluxe Reverb, a ES-335, and to make Dev happy - a Boss Blues Driver. Almost forgot -a...

I used to use Cakewalk (now called Sonar) a few years back. I liked it. They have a free demo: http://cakewalk.com/Products/DAWs.asp If you are recording several sources as once, check to see how many tracks you can record at once with whatever software you choose. Some are limited. Also - Audacity ...

Good show - with Marc Ribot on guitar!

Ribot appears with Tom Waits frequently. His solo stuff is good. Ranges form latin to klezmer, to noisy art rock.

Greg Brown's version on The Live One (or is it A Live One) is pretty good. Hell, that whole album is good - If you like Brown, that is.

Hindu's version of Raspberry Beret is great....

Great pic

Some dude on Harmony Central posted a pic of his Gretch, same one that Jay plays on stage, I believe.

Bill Berry - REM

Hey all, How's the board goin'? Been a few months since I posted anything. So I'm sitting here in my living room, sippin' some cheap ass whiskey - Can\adian Club, I believe. It's a bid handle of whiskey, that's all I know for sure, but it's doing the job. I'm watching a REM show on Comcast On Demand...
