Re: Looking for a miracle for a lost friend

Im so grateful. Thank you so much. This brought back some fun memories. I miss him a lot. Just a great guy to jam and play music with. Always had something funny to say. Im putting together a bunch of his music for his wife in preparation for a birthday party.

Looking for a miracle for a lost friend

Hey folks. I'll cut right into it. A couple years ago I lost a very close friend and band mate to an opiate overdose. It still hurts hard. Heres the ask... MANY years ago we did a tribute for Jay and sent in tunes to someone involved here. I did 'Station to Station' with him on drums ... was looking...

James wrote Mayonaise on Saimese Dream and did indeed get tracks down on both Gish and Siamese Dream. Just , not a lot. Jimmy Chamberlain is one of the best rock drummers of all time. Listen to Geek USA. That is pretty much one of the best rock drum tracks ever. I would have liked to see the origina...

Hahaha, who's stopping you? I always got a kick out of those who felt they were sooo important to a chat board that they had to post a resignation upon departing.....get over yourself :)

Fen, I thought this board revolved around you?

I guess with me, I was a bit over critical with Jays latest offering because I know he is one of the best singer songwriters out there. I feel there was a lot left on the table with this latest recording. However, its still a great album and I do listen it, so that has to say something. I just think...

Yep, I'm not taking anything away from Jay and love his music. However I somewhat I agree with whats being said. The picture could easily be the theme song for a cheesy sitcom on FOX, or something. The mix of the horns is not my bag at all. I appreciate the horns free remix tho. I will see them if t...

My first SV show as well. The crowd was electric too, and the band seemed to feed off it. I wish they came through more often. I really enjoyed the show. The sound was awesome where I was standing. Jay seemed to get right into it too, I think he liked the Ottawa crowd. I didnt have the sobriety to k...

Is there any fair, fest , or city these guys havent played? LoL. Good band. Non ethe less I am glad I was up front and cente...
