I got the album on iTunes with all the extras. I arranged it with acetone angels at the end. When angels ends, and the album rolls over to hearse, it's a perfect transition.

All 22 tracks are available on iTunes for $9.99. Hell of a deal, except no artwork. I guess that's the price we pay for convenience.

I must be crazy but Anodyne has never really had the impact on me as the others. It has some of my Farrar favs, but as a whole it just doesn't seem as cohesive as the others. I think Tweedy's songs on it suck (except for New Madrid) and are placed in very poor locations on the album. "We've Been Had...

Songs in a Northern Key is one of my favorite albums EVER. And speaking of the 1-2 punch, when "Still Dream" leads into "Song" I flip out. And Anders is a really nice guy.

They should do something like the Pavement reissues and include EVERYTHING. Alternate takes, demos, even if it is some shitty 30 second jam, it's good to hear. But Jay knows that, because that's how he did Terroir Blues.

You might consider driving up Mt. Evans (near Evergreen, former home of Willie) and sit on the peak and play a song or two. One of the most inspiring moments I've ever had.

I don't play pv, but I heard that some new guy took over and thought it all sounded like shit, so he fired everyone and began rebuilding the pv name. Thats just what I heard.

Mexico by The Refreshments has always been a classic party song around these parts. The best party I've ever been to had Still feel Gone playing over and over.
