That's good then. I can see being brand new to Kerouac and being intrigued by the movie. And hey, it wasn't all bad. Overall I enjoyed the journey of going through the book that way. There were just too many cringe-worthy moments for me to walk away totally fulfilled.

Right on. Saw the Doomtree crew (minus P.O.S.) play to about 10 people here in San Diego a month or so ago and they were unbelievable. Great, great show. And Dessa is hot as hell.

I'd definitely welcome a return to the Belly Up down here soon, for about half of what they charged last night.
Still, SV really brought it. Their sound was clear and people seemed to really dig. I'm sure there were some fans in the crowd but in general they might as well have been playing a festival.

Anybody catch this? I had a great time, except I arrived late. Didn't see Dave's post about the ol switcheroo and assumed the CJs were opening, as previously reported. Got there around 7:45. Setlist similar to previous nights, no Looking At The World Through A Windshield. Anyway, what I saw rocked. ...

Picking up the DVD version tomorrow at the local record shop. I haven't been this excited about any "new" release in a long time. I know a handful of folks that ordered online and already have it in their hands. IT'S REAL!
