Saw him at the Troubadour on Sunday. Amanda Shires opened up for him and she was really good. What a great show! He played pretty much all of Southeastern and lots of other great tunes. Weird, I had to vote for the search. While the instrumentation isn't always my favorite, the song writing is some of his most consistent. I have to say I'm not a big fan of the new one. Buy the download- it's really worth it, Windfall has a whole different sound an feel to it with an intro that sounds a little like Rex's Blues.
