O-M-G Styx, REO Barfwagon, argh..........not to mention Journey...these bands and their god-awful videos made me turn away from the mainstream long ago--hiding in the Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Little Feat to avoid that schlock that was all the radio and MTV had to offer. don't know who cal is, but pieces of eight might be styx's best record saw 'em 3 times on the pieces of eight tour great shows i am an unabashed styx fan Damn, you should come to Youngstown. Triple bill of Styx, REO and Night Ranger. no Dennis DeYoung, it doesn't count! band i was in many years ago...

Does anyone who has heard Jay do SBA during his solo tours really like the version? I heard him do it in 2004 and it was...light. I realize Jay has matured and isn't the same person he was 20 years ago, but I for one totally miss the urgent, angry Jay voice. I don't expect we'll ever hear it again,...
