well, it is alabama.

this happens often over at panicfreaks.org, but usually dissolves pre-show with minimal chicken dancing, slanderous wordplay, followed by brah hugs and shared peace offerings of headdy microbrews and dank nuggets....

tap room, stable are musts for local brew....stable is close to off broadway, so check to see if someone cool might be playing....if you want to venture even a bit further south, hit up the iron barley for some manly grub.

seriously bummed to hear Jay say that he works according to "5 yr plans" and that, having worked with Son Volt for the past few records, it is probably time to move on to something else. Pls tell me that does not mean no Volt for a long while...don't get me wrong, I love the solo Jay, Gob Iron, etc...
