Finally built some 4X12 raised beds this year. Wished I would have done it years ago! https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7453/14126733653_3d0c124ed4_z.jpg That does look great. I went back and forth over building raised beds but just couldn't see enough benefit in doing so. Here are a couple of crappy ...

Happy Spring! I was looking at transplanting some in-ground ferns from my mother's house to my own and was wondering if I needed to worry about them poisoning my dogs and cats. I looked up the type of fern, Bracken, and found the ASPCA site stating they are poisonous to horses who may eat them if th...

Two as a matter of fact, Skillet and Emily Sparks. And 110 pound dog with another 70 pounder I just inherited yesterday. Merle and Reggie, respect...

From the article from one of your earlier posts about Neil Young's new Pono listening device:

But one thing we can guarantee is that in about a year, everyone who owns a PonoPlayer will be completely insufferable.

Nymphomaniac, Vol. I - first installment of a 5 1/2 hour Danish film about a 50 something year old woman, self-diagnosed as a Nymphomaniac. Stellan Skarsgaard plays her older intellectual neighbor, and the two of them discuss her life told in various stories. Uma Thurman delivers a knock-out perfor...

Spike,

I bought your book but the 5 nieces and nephews I have aren't getting it. I'll keep it for myself. Good luck with your book and project.

P.S. What the fuck is an Easter egg?

Re: I Need Help, Please

I'm looking for any live Son Volt shows from 2007 where they played the reggae version of Life Worth Livin' as part of the encore. I seem to have mislaid mine and a search online only brings me dead torrents. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. maybe here? http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=5...

Sultana has bits of pretty melody, but that pounding keyboard just makes me feel tense. And the songwriting sounds like Jay is reading out of a dull history textbook, trying unsuccessfully to render the prose melodic. Tim in the ATL I like the song very much, it's tons better than that awful "you w...
