I like Lucero and was fortunate to catch them Friday evening opening for DBT. I have no problem with supporting an act that's out there doing what they'd die for, believing till there's no turning back. However, to compare them to Neil Young is laughable on many levels. I was not trying to compare ...

I can see Lucero nearly 10 times for the price of one Neil Young ticket...and I know it will rock.

I love me some Neil, but he has left me behind...I'm supporting the artists who actually need to make money to eat and pay rent...

I am waiting for the Dev make-up tour to hit Tampa...or at least Orlando.

Check out Lucero if you have not already heard them. I have listened to them for the last couple of years and they just keep impressing me a great deal. No BS, just a hard working, blue collar band that sounds great live. Ben Nichols has a voice you love or hate. Most Jay / Son Volt fans will fall ...

Being in Florida, I do not qualify to respond.....but this thread was getting no love.

Those of you who have not heard this band should make an effort to do so.

While I am not a fan of the Dave Matthews Band, I really do enjoy Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds.

I have all of the CDs that these two put out as a duo, and this latest one is my least favorite.
