Yes, this is awful. But highly unlikely he goes to prison.

I am sure this behavior has been rampant in the music business forever. Good for these women to speak out about it. Hopefully it changes the culture.

The beliefs from the status-quo picture Drop down like from a drip dispenser Leaving too many paths that lead to A one-way talk with only the darkness Sun breaks on a buffer-zone madness Fleeing ghosts for all the reasons With apathetic eyes to the future Complacent to the last broken pieces No cons...

Hmmm, I am curious why he is doing this. I guess we take him at his word he is trying to de-clutter and "you can't take this stuff with you". I wonder if the '62 Comet inspired $1000 car?

I am about 75 pages into this book. Utterly fascinating, at least to me. I am the same age as Jay and Jeff and grew up in a neighboring town. I went to the same concert venues (Mississippi Nights) and record store (Lame Duck) in Belleville Jeff is writing about. Not much else in common, thought. I a...

Enjoy Tim! Let us know if you gain a newfound appreciation for the Brad Rice era. I certainly have listening to this record periodically over time. And The Search probably even more.

Very entertaining read. I guess my perception was it wasn't as bad between Jay and Jeff. I always assumed it was a passive-aggressive situation toward the end. But fisticuffs?!? Never thought it was that bad. Very interesting. I'll guess we'll never hear the full story but the interviews capture it ...

St. Louis Show

Saw the boys Friday night in St. Louis. They played at Off Broadway. I may be wrong but in my 23 years of seeing SV in STL I don't think they have ever played there. I don't even remember Jay playing there. It is home base for The Bottle Rockets when they are back in town. Unfortunately I have never...

My least favorite of the 1.0 records, but still damn good. And that is only because Trace and WST are that incredible. As a matter of fact least favorite probably a poor choice of words. Left A Slide, Picking Up the Signal, and Way Down Watson my favourites in that order.

Had to go to P. 25 to find this thread so guess you guys haven't been reading, tsk tsk. Just read Andersonville by MacKinley Kantor. Incredible. A novel based on historical facts about the Civil War prison camp for the North in Andersonville, GA. Published in 1955 and won the Pulitzer Prize. Initial...
