OK, I made this UT/SV collection for my 75 yr old DAD. :-) First, some history: Growing up in Indiana in the 60's, my dad force-fed us kids a steady diet of country (we had no choice, it was his car/truck and when we were in it, the radio (A.M. of course!) was all-country all-the-time). Naturally us...

Yeah, I got one too. I've been getting about one bogus email a day thanks to that last virus that's going around.

Just delete the email and DO NOT open the attachment.

If I understand your question...

You can just right-click on the separate audio files included with the interview and save them to your hard disk.

Re: Jay postings

A talk show host on a recent radio interview during Farrar's West Coast tour chided him for not logging on to his website. She was questioning him about information posted there, and found she knew more than he did. That would be this interview on KEXP: http://www.kexp.org/aspnet_client/KEXPViewMed...

Fair 'nough... good arguments all. Maybe those that seed the vines could also post on SharingTheGroove (assuming they are geeky enough to do that). That way we'd have the best of both worlds - the geeks that want to download via SharingTheGroove could. This would also have the added benefit of remov...

SharingTheGroove vs. Trees/Vines/etc

Just wondering why we (i.e. the members of this board) don't use something like SharingTheGroove or the like as the normal policy to distribute live shows vs. the very inefficient vine/tree process. Since I've so far only been on the receiving end of those gracious enough to share the recordings the...

Thanks DS...

Unfortunately, the Slim's show isn't available for some reason (the guy seeding it ran into some problem and doesn't seem to be able to dix it)

It's a damn shame...

Nope. About 40-50ft from the stage, a little right of center (closer to the bar!)

Did anyone record the Slims's SF show?

Just wondering...

A guy and gal I was with that night started a romance during the show. (I think it was a long time coming, but I like to think that Jay gave them a little push! :)) I thought it would be nice to give them a copy of the show...

I'm such a romantic...

After the first encore, Canyon came back out to play a couple of songs with Jay... unfortunately, all I remember was the last song they played which was Neil Young's "Like a Hurricane"... (I was pretty far gone by this time in the show  ) Then, just when we thought it was over, Jay came back AG...

I saw Jay twice last fall at Great America Music Hall in San Francisco (with Mark Spencer and Eric Heywood) and then saw him at the Austin City Limits (with Canyon backing him). Both combos were great, BUT the Canyon show was definitely more rocking. I'm going to see Jay w/ Canyon this Friday at Sli...

We had these things called "pizza burgers" back in Indiana. It was basically a hamburger bun with ground beef (at least that's what they told us it was) and some sort of tomatoe sauce and cheese on top. Pretty disgusting, but when you're 8 years old it was one of our favorites.
