My wife likes these guys. I can't get into them though. Sounds like Tweedy on his worst day.

Yeah, right.
Right. Preorder customers already have their Blu-Ray preview disc in hand. It's real.

Wasn't there a Buffett thread here years ago? White Sport Coat, Living and Dying in 3/4 Time, A-1-A, and Havana Daydreamin' are four consecutive classics. The Key West albums. They really capture a spirit that seems genuine on his behalf. After that up to the mid-90s, his albums are spotty: corny st...

Great record. I like it. Has the feel of SV.2 but the songwriting is the best since Terroir Blues and the traditional SV arrangements are great. Nice to hear a fiddle behind Jay again.

This would be Werewolph revived. These recordings are from 2006, when he was putting up all those punk/hip-hop/metal albums on his website.

My first exposure to these songs was live (except Johnny Magic and FITR) and I though they were pretty forgettable save a few. Seeing the videos I started to warm up but CD itself is great fun. You should give it a try.

Surprised at the lack of love for Sleeps With Angels here.
That one is pure genius. Probably the best thing he's done since Rust.
Mirrorball and Broken Arrow can round out a pretty solid mid-90s trilogy

I've heard a few songs of Scream and aside from a few catchy melodies, it is bad, bad, bad. I still might download it for $3 for laughs, but I'm not sure it's worth it.

Everyone knows by now that there's no use expecting the "box set" (it's actually supposed to be 4 box sets in installments, the first being '65-'72), no matter what Neil or anyone says. It might come sometime in the near future, and we might have to wait a long time. I'll take new music being made a...

Light A Candle

http://neilyoung.com/forkintheroad/lightacandlevideo.html New Neil I think most will enjoy. The quality of this new material has been furiously debated. Most of it is about his LincVolt he's working on and is really crunchy blues. This one is just beautiful. You can see the other videos on the main ...
