Oh! I'll check this out asap. The Long Ryders were one of my favorite bands during the 80s (along with the Waterboys and Los Lobos).

Farrar's voice sounds as good as ever. It hasn't seemed to have aged at all.

I guess this was originally for Vanity Fair, either 2013 or 2000 (both dates are noted. Anyway, the Vanity Fair one includes Costello's greater explanation of how he put the list together and also notes that his favorite song on Trace is Loose String.
