I'd have to share that spot with CM 97/98, I still play it 2-9 hours per day, I've never really had a break from it. Best achievement? I transformed scottish side Albion Rovers from a lousy 3rd division team to become consecutive winners of the Champions League. No cheats whatsoever. they had a sta...

Championship Manager ruined my life. At university I played this game 24 hours a day. And that's not an exaggeration, I MEAN 24 hours a day- no sleep. As for Chelsea/Liverpool, yeah that would be a cool Semi. We've already beaten you 3 times this season so I'd be happy to play you again. I'm a total...

I've tried watching Star Wars a few times. I can't get into it. I have many friends that are all into it. I hate Star Wars. Also hate Lord of the Rings. All my friends that like Star Wars, like that also. I think that's a perfectly normal reaction! People who like it (like myself), got brainwashed ...

Tickets for the London show cost me (at the current rate of exchange) approx $25 each. Which is cheap for England. Tickets for the sub-standard Wilco gig last week cost me nearly $50 each. Son Volt = value for money. By the way, us English folks feel we pay far too much tax on everything, so I'd be ...

Also, when unemployed, I realized the need for any sort of social interaction, which is something that really doesn't come for free when you're unemployed. Went to a party once at a friends' place and it was quite a big deal to get out and meet people. But I was so disappointed since there wasn't r...

Not in the last 2 years, though I have been unemployed twice before: once for 6 months and once for 3 months. Both of those periods of time were horrible. My family were all having financial troubles so they couldn't help me and I hated having to rely on friends to buy me drinks on the few occasions...

Wilco Lame-o

Saw Wilco at Hammersmith Apollo last night. Disappointed. I think Wilco are a top band but I nearly fell asleep last night (admittedly, I was pretty tired anyway!). Handshake Drugs and Spiders stood-out, but it was too quiet even when they were rocking-out. I saw Mercury Rev at the same venue on Sat...

Does damage to an instrument before it is named preclude it from ever being named? I'll be willing to bet maura tierney is from England. "Nicked" is the english way of saying "Stolen" BTGB Ahhh...my Yankee ignorance shining through. Good catch BTGB. Yep, I'm English. And yep, I did mean that my aco...
