Cary Hudson formally of Blue Mountain has a new record coming out called "bittersweet blues" on April 11. You can preorder and it will ship from Black Dog Records April 10. Ive heard some of the new material this past weekend, good stuff. Mostly acoustic record

another SV hearing in mobile, went to TP Crockmiers last sat nite. The band whipped into "Drown" in the first set. Not a really "true" version but dont think ive heard that before in this town. They followed it with Superstition by stevie, then 16 days by whiskeytown......not that bad but very unusu...

Jeff, at least we got the zew. they may not play all good stuff but you hear sum wilco on there everyonce in a while. I agree we dont get to many good live act but there are a few out there. Grayson Capps last nite was awesome, Monsoons will surprise you with some upcoming bands everyonce in a while...
