yeah, the most expensive seat in Wilco's upcoming radio city show is $39, and most were only $29. And its fucking Radio City Music Hall! I love generous artists.

That's the worst subject line ever.
And the worst poll I've ever seen.

"Is A Woman" is a great one. That's where I started. And their recent two releases "Aw, C'Mon" and "No, You C'Mon" are very fun. But "Is A Woman" is still a classic for me. They have alot of other albums that I haven't even tried to catch up to.
I'd check it out!

Yeah, you'll get a much more quiet and more laid back recording. Not to say that some of it isn't up tempo.
It's very atmospheric.
And it's worth it just to hear Spencer's harmonies. Those define most of his songs for me now. I still hear his harmony parts on the versions of the songs without them.

Hey stevedave, that's an awesome Bob Dylan song from the 1974 album Planet Waves. Uncle Tupelo covered it quite a bit I guess.
Hope I helped!

I found through the course of the book that Jeff turns into Jay in a way. Once he reaches the point artistically Jay was at the end of Tupelo. The banishing of Coomer is eerily reminiscent of EXACTLY how Jay ended Tupelo. Although the book doesn't really connect those dots. Anyway, regardless, I'm r...

Haha.
Yes... I do see him borrowing Wilco CDs for this article, perhaps just listening to them in the store. Then downloading "Screen Door" and POOF! we have a bona fide Wilco critic.
But what else is new.

Hey smoke... yeah the crowd was great. it really filled up. Jim James was awesome. He did Dark End of the Street and one other. Like I said.. I'm bad at remembering these things. And at the end, during Ooh Las Vegas, he was dancing all over the stage, with one arm around Polly Parsons. Hey Mike, tha...

Sin City - L.A.

Honestly.. I am still reeling from the show. It was really powerful. I can't condense any ONE thought. So I guess I'll just recap Jay. He played Drug Store Truck Driving Man and Christine's Tune aka Devil in Disguise. He rocked. Funny note... the second to last song was Wild Horses. Jay came out and...
