But, yeah ... in a tiny dive bar ... solo?!

I'm going to see Jason Isbell on Sunday, May 31st. A friend of mine ... I'm not sure how he did it ... got Isbell to play a gig at a local dive bar ... and I mean DIVE bar! I think it will be him solo ... without the 400 Unit. I'm looking forward to it. It's a small place ... should be a cool show....

That's no ordinary cracker ... no ... that's a Ritz!

I caught Cracker (with Backyard Tire Fire opening) at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis last Friday.

Great show! Cracker was definitely ready to play. BYTF was a great opening act.

I really enjoyed them both.

Happy Spring!

The Peace of Wild Things When despair grows in me and I wake in the middle of the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things...

Good call, LF!

I had a chef friend pass that onto me a couple years ago ... it's gone to a dozen or so friends since.

Great read.
