But, yeah ... in a tiny dive bar ... solo?!
I'm going to see Jason Isbell on Sunday, May 31st. A friend of mine ... I'm not sure how he did it ... got Isbell to play a gig at a local dive bar ... and I mean DIVE bar! I think it will be him solo ... without the 400 Unit. I'm looking forward to it. It's a small place ... should be a cool show....

One of the opening acts the Ivas John Band is from Carbondale (Illinois ... the town lucky enough to call me a resident). They play a weekly gig around here ... and a bunch of shows all over. The next time I run into them ... I'll have to ask about the Austin show. Did any of you in attendance catch...

I caught Cracker (with Backyard Tire Fire opening) at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis last Friday.
Great show! Cracker was definitely ready to play. BYTF was a great opening act.

Still can't believe this gig got booked but, I'm glad it did
