For me March is UT's best album, Straightways is SV's finest moment and Sebastopol is probably my fave Jay stuff ever.

I love Mark's playing but am more excited to see and hear Son Volt at this point. I have a bunch of SV video shows and Dave B. is a mighty fine player, I am more excited about this new SV project every day.

I think the less than one minute political offerings Jeff has blurted out lately have been blown out of proportion. He has always been left leaning, so has Jay. Both have written songs about it and this is nothing new. Why is it bothering folks so much now? With all that is bad in the world you choo...

I'm thinking this has been in his plans proir to the announcement. My guess is the new songs mentioned were being written specifically with the SV project in mind. I bet he has a bunch of SV leftovers as well, this project is going to be hard to wait for.

I doubt you'd be as understanding if someone made the same comment about killing a family member, could you get over it.

What makes me sad is someone threatning to shoot the President online, even in jest it is creepy. At the risk of the guy being even half serious he should be reported. That was really F'd up.
