i'm gettin' goosebumps, LFan. my prediction on #1 seeds... South Region> Windfall East Region> Medicine Hat Midwest Region> Still Be Around West Region> Left A Slide That makes Tear Stained a mean number 2 seed. But 2 seeds are a fickle bunch. They could overthrow Medicine Hat in the final ...

Had to go with True To Life. This was the first Jay song i ever heard and it's what got me hooked. Back in the days of Napster, i'd search for a rare tune that i loved and then search that person's library because i figured they'd be into the same shit i was. Well, in several people's libraries i sa...

ya know ... Aside from it being mildly humorous, doesn’t that whole Drown riff-thing and subsequent commentary seem somewhat shitty? Am I hyper-sensitive because it’s sweet Jayfers, or is it because it is, in fact, a shitty sort of thing to do? I probably (seriously) would have walked the hell out ...

There's a great tune called Easy Wind on Workingman's that i could totally hear Jay doing. It's got a little Buzz and Grind thing to it. Even though it's never been one of my favorite Dead tunes, i could also hear Jay doing Truckin'. The coolest however would be "Attics of my Life" - Jay could fully...

It's okay to swoon. His voice is perfection. Jay is definitely swoon-worthy, Dev, and i'm man enough to be able to say so without feeling a little light in the loafers (not that i wear loafers). Much as i love Okemah, and I do love Okemah, my favorite Jay voice is the deeper drone from the good ol'...

Jay's Voice

I'm listening to Hard Times right now and Jay's voice has never sounded better. It's got that deep mellow Tupelo thing i love so dang much.

Honestly, this guy just gets better and better.

I can totally hear Jay doing Maggie's Farm.

He'd also do a helluva Subterranean Homesick Blues and blow some kickass freakin' harp.

I'd also love to hear:

Oh, Sister
Tough Mama
Forever Young
It's Alright Ma
Shelter From the Storm

Those are my votes.

Ever hear of Son Volt?

I was out for dinner tonight with some friends of my fiancee and we're talking about music and the dude says to me "Ever hear of Son Volt?" I nearly shit myself. Any time I asked someone that question, they look at me with a blank stare. I just found it amusing that I listen to Jay ever day of my fr...

Soundboards? Multiple soundboards? Without hyperbole, this is one of the worst crimes against humanity EVER. Someone needs to get on this. Not me of course, but someone. Someone responsible. Someone who can get things done. It's the Son Volt Restoration Project and it needs to happen. Who's on it?

Not sure about the date - that's all the info I have. I'll look into it.

If you can see what you can do in finding it on CDR, I'd be forever grateful. Love Jay and love that tune...

Just busting balls, Shuck - trying to make a point. If you're on this board, you must like music. No offence intended.
