Re: link

Well, truth in interpersonal conflicts is often somewhere in the middle of the antagonists perspectives. And let's face it, Tweedy's love of the limelight and desire to get himself written into legend certainly compelled him to dish the dirt that probably would have been best left in the past. Maybe...

I've turned a couple people. You really need to pick your battles. If you know someone well enough you can usually tell what they're going to like. Many people don't like his voice and that's a tough one to overcome. The music is difficult at this point to categorize and there is no sign that Jay wi...

Hank, You've got the right approach. The thing I have the hardest time with is obnoxious Wilco partisans and culture vultures playing revisionists with history. It's annoying listen to these people shit on Jay just because they're on the 'winning team'. And it really bugged me when the UT Reissues c...

Re: Trace

Was I the only one out there who thought the line was 'seeing traces of the STARS that came before'? Figured it was some reference to burned out stars whose light still shows as a star here on the 3rd rock. Oh well, scars is cool too.

I have frost build-up in the corners of my living room right now. I think the builder skimped on the insulation when he built my house.

Sorry, got my own snow to clear out. I highly recommend the Ariens Classic walk behind. Took care of my driveway.

Personnally I think there's dog sh*t hidden pretty well in Terrible Blues somewhere. I'm with the Wilco hombre on this one... And from what I've heard of Ryan's new one, it pretty much blows everything except Trace away. This sounds like VC smack to me. How about grabbing your friend wilco18whateve...

This was my first time seeing Jay, and really enjoyed it. Would have been there for Canyon but spent a good 45 minutes driving around looking for parking and then waiting in line to get in. I agree that the TB stuff like Cahokian dragged a bit and could have used MS. The TB stuff is subtle by nature...
