I watched the Grammy's because my girlfriend refuses to purchase cable (long story). Normally, I would not watch, but the Grammy's are interesting. Couple things I got from last night show. 1. Sly Stone looked incredibly weird. 2. Christina Augulara has a very nice voice and a wonderful boob job 3. ...

Hmmm......an apology?.....hmmm...tough one....lets see...nah Those fuckers are just showing their true colors. That freedom of speech idea is a tough pill to swallow. Always will be. After learning that the concert was SOLD OUT:

I bought an $8 cigar, purchased SV Retorspective, and polished off the remaining JW Black.

Sorta like a mini-concert for me in the conformt of my own home.

Damn would have like to see that show...

Perfect reference from Clerks.....that was very funny.

Terrorists invited to dinner will be a Mel Brooks slapstick comedy.

Interesting comments

As I was reading the news this AM, I found an article talking about the US airstrikes in Pakistan. Apparently 10-12 terrorists were invited to a dinner, and we bombed the building. Anyway, the qoute from Pakistan dude keeps re-playing in my head. Here is the qoute from chief official in the Bajur re...

I always thought Weezer was the "father of emo"

Toadies were cool too. Would Toadies be considered emo?

After further review, the awards show was the Nashville Songwriters award show hosted by Patrick Duffy and Tammie Wynette (CBS). I think they had the show for about 3 years in the mid-80's.

I think I need to insert Patrick Duffy singing.......might be a week or so.

The award show with Patrick Duffy was strange. He sang a few songs and presented awards with Tammie Wynette.

I remember Patrick Duffy from Dallas days, so I bet we are not that far apart in age.

80's Steve Earle

I was helpin my old man transfer VHS tapes to DVD over the holidays. Found a 84' or 85' CMA music awards with Steve Earle presenting an award: Steve Earle (80's) and Jay (today) could be identical twins. Very scary. I hope to post the video in the next few weeks. Steve has a more skinny Jack Black l...

Since the start, SJ has always dropped insight and wisdom. Even the political ramblings were good.
