Jay/High Road Touring In Baltimore, Hammerjack's is reopening in September. Brand new facility.

When I saw Son Volt in DC @ 930 Club I was right in front of Jay and his amp. I really only heard Jay's guitar because I was right there. It was great and loud as fuck. I loved it.

that Son Volt does another leg of this tour and hits the "secondary markets"? Baltimore is reopening Hammerjack's in the fall and that would be very cool. The first incarnation of Son Volt played the old Hammerjack's years ago. I'm just throwing a wish out loud.

Friend, I'm envious. The show was loud, but even louder when I nudged my way to the front barrier and ended up aligned with Jay's amp. "Happy" was incredible.
