Good point. It sounds like a strange situation.
Gary: "Hey Jay, want to be in Golden Smog?"
Jay: "Sure"
Gary: "OK, let me go ask Jeff and see if it's okay".

I'd welcome it, but Jay doesn't seem like the reunion type. It didn't work the first time. But who knows.

Not that I'm going to Denver, but adding Binaural to the full album shows would be great. Anything else, save maybe Riot Act, seems silly since those albums are favored in the set lists already. Very cool that they're doing this, and cooler that it seems to be a last minute decision. Anyway, have fu...

Definitely won't be the same, but it's a new chapter which, after viewing tonight's tour opening setlist, will be pretty interesting. Since Rick doesn't sing Neil brought out two female singers (not his wife, sister, or anyone else that's sung with him before) to help. Can't wait to hear it! (on you...

Both Sebastopol and TB are high water marks for me, with Thirdshiftgrottoslack and Live in Seattle being amazing companion pieces. Sebastopol was the first album that Jay released with me as a fan and in those early 2000s it seemed like he didn't have a bad song or musical instinct in him. The work ...

Yes, thank you! Fast Atmosphere never responded. An upload would be much appreciated.

That would be great if it happened, I've always felt Mike was kind of like Jay's Ralph Molina; definitely not a studio ace but plays with great feel and power that can define a performance.

Eh. Such a stretch. What is called alt-country or americana today is so far removed from the sound of No Depression I have a hard time agreeing. Neither Jay or Jeff has revisited that sound much at all past some of Still Be Gone really. If today's artists were influenced by UT at all, I would say it...

I think a physical copy was sold at shows for a while a few years ago but it was digital only upon first release. I never picked up a physical copy (wish I did) and haven't found one online anywhere.

Thanks Zach. Yes I'm hoping for some sort of complete artwork, I assume that will fit into a case. I think I remember having that before when I first purchased it but was addicted to the iPod at that point and didn't bother. Hopefully they'll get back to me. If so I'll let ya know.

Live In Seattle Artwork

Finally re-bought and downloaded today after I lost it a few years ago with many other online purchases when my comp burst into flames (figuratively). Sounds as good as I remember it. Fast Atmosphere included a link to printable artwork, which I would love to access, but it appears to be broken or n...

I was pretty surprised myself. A small but noticeable percentage of the crowd left but those that remained were very, very loud: stomping their feet, hooting and clapping. Earlier in the show Jay was talking about Headgear studios down the street (it actually recently closed), where he's mixed the l...
