I seem to remember a June '95 audience tape from Colorado making the rounds way back in the day before cd burners were prevalent. I'd have to go back to the old house and dig through the tapes to see.

I think they were supposed to be off the stage by 10pm and stretched it to 10:05. Just another reason why I hate The Ark, too many rules...

The vinyl is a bit marbled and dusty but so far it sounds ok, but it is a touch murky and a bit of noise comes through here and there. Certainly not the best or worst I've unwrapped.

My copy arrived today. I ordered it through Amazon and the download card was included.

Everything comes out in a vinyl version nowadays, otherwise ipod or iphone. Almost every vinyl purchase comes with free download. Also have piles of cds from pre-illumination days. Not to mention the 7000 or so burned cds of concerts and boots and whatnot... I have issues, I know.

I need to go see if mine has arrived yet, only media I buy is vinyl.

Don't know the exact date of this particular recording but they played the slow arrangement throughout the fall '99 US tour if I remember correctly...

Though it is most likely way too late for this show if you do something similar in the future I have a pile of live stuff you could pull from...

Edit: just got a general admission. The show listed after Son Volt was She and Him at Hill Auditorium that I didn't know about that I scored row C seats for as well.
