Have you checked 'Voodoo Candle' from this show?

I don't mean to belabor the point, but these guys need to make more music together.

Gibbard's contribution to the project is irreplaceable as I see it. His vocals alone.

Your photos are priceless too. Great, great work.

Dev-worthy.

And welcome aboard. Grab a drink and sit down sometime.

Nice, thanks for posting the vids link, the pics, all of it. You guys rule.

The only thing I know about DCFC is the name of the band and that Gibbard fronts them. If I wanted to check them out, what cd would be a good starting point?

I also wanted to assure everyone that not all Death Cab fans are country-phobic and the DCfC fan crossover to "Farraresque country" is indeed possible.
And not all Farrar fans are emo-phobic. I had never heard a Gibbard song besides "Soul Meets Body" and that great tune that he did with The Postal Service that was covered by Iron and Wine on The Garden State Soundtrack.

Anyway, he's won me over...Like Shuck said, I would love to see this become a permanent collaboration or at least see this tour extended nationally.

Welcome Aboard!

This is not a knock at Tweedy at all, but listening again to that live radio show today, I couldn't help but thinking that Ben and Jay sing together with such chemistry that this could be viewed as a more appropriate collaboration than Uncle Tupelo.
Running away now...

sigh.
nice photos.

And you're right ...
I've been a DCFC fan for a good few years (since '03-ish) - a friend gifted me Transatlanticism, which I love-love-love.

Hello, I'm a recent convert to Mr. Farrar so I haven't posted before, but I attended two of the Farrar/Gibbard shows and took some pictures I thought y'all might be interested in, which I guess I'll have to put in a second post beacuse the board won't let me put links in my first post...

Iam really digging the youtube of All in One...Jay's harmonies and Mark's guitar are much more pronounced than on the album version.

Kinda reminds me of how Uncle Tupelo would sound if Ben sat in for Jeff.
