AO-- so very sorry to hear of you loss as well. My thoughts are with you, too.

My dad passed away 11 days ago on Halloween.
I have not heard this song, but will make it a point to.
I'm very sorry for your loss Terraplane.
Although mine is still so new, I can very much relate.

My father died in september after a long & painful illness; he was in a place of full despair the last few months. Low life kingdom, the lyrics, with Jay's delivery--"wake up where the atmosphere is dearer, maybe closer to heaven" -- has provided a great deal of insight and for some reason, comfort.

In any event, I agree, a beautiful, standout song. Gibbard's high harmonies on this and Sea Engines are stellar. What an album.

It's definitely the pick of the litter. Followed very closely by All In One.

Is that just a beautiful song or what? What a voice.
