I do agree that the Dino Jr. album is up there. After seeing them on this tour they rock as hard as ever. The album itself is a lush, thick and balls out recording and the songs played live easily hold up against the classics.

They are a great band.

Great album, but it was released in summer 2008.

The usual suspects:
Jay's double volley
Magnolia's "Josephine"
Bill Callahan's "Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle"
Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit
John Doe & The Sadies "Country Club"
Probably my favourite release has been Eilen Jewell's "Sea of Tears".
If you want late night sultry reverb vignettes beautifully played and gorgeously sang then step right up.

You've now been officially exposed. The CD sounds way better than the vinyl my pseudo audiophile.
...pseudo audiophile - ouch. How so? Have you been to my place and listened to music on my current analog system? You are welcome to come over btw - you'll buy the beers tho...

No one here has the Rural Alberta Advantage album? That is probably my favorite from this year...
