Ryan Adams and Jesse Malin on Tuesday night. Fantastic night. Best I've seen Adams play yet. Solo acoustic with some piano. Gorgeous. No Cardinals waffling just pure tunes.

Where's that song you said you'd give us?

And Steve Earle on July 12 at the Saenger Theatre here in Mobile.
.

Where should I send it? Somebody needs to back-channel me an email address perhaps.

Slobberbone - Houston - Continental Club.

Post by dEvRoNiKa »

Had a lovely evening with Slobberbone last week.

It helped satiate my music-drought.

A friend was there to shoot the show so I didn't even bother bringing my gear, which was kind of nice, but I couldn't NOT shoot. Here are some phone photos.

I guess Jess wanted to use the handicapped parking, because he brought his banjo.

Great show, they closed the show with an incredible version of Like A Hurricane

Celebration Day, a Led Zep cover band at The Pageant in STL. Unfriggin believable. The role of Jimmy Page was played by Jimmy Griffin, who has guitar tech'd for Jay in the past. The guy is phenomenal. The parts of Plant and Bonzo were incredible as well. Seeing that music live made me realize that Jimmy Page was a genius.

Finally got around to this awesome double bill at the Continental Club...
John Dee Graham and James McMurtry, cuz I didn't have to get up for work the next morning :) . JDG was awesome and how special was it to see Andrew Duplantis? Very!!!! He's got an amazing smile. *giggle* oh, and only $8!!!! What value.

I just spent some time in SoCal with those Lucero boys:

Thurs. Feb 17th in LA at the Echoplex (which can be seen on Last Call w/ Carson Daly TONIGHT!)

Sat. Feb 19th in San Diego at the House of Blues (with Chuck Ragan and Social Distortion)

Sun. Feb 20th in San Diego at the Casbah

Good times, great shows!!!
