Not the next concert I'm going to, but I saw the Dream Syndicate last month in Madrid. It was like traveling back to 1988 and stepping into Raji's in Hollywood on the night of recording. According to Steve they're probably going to do some more shows next year, one not to miss.

Can Sister Helen tell Steve too many carbs are as much a threat to him as the causes he rails against?

heard Sister Helen...(Dead Man Walking Lady)
awesome morning. during the break i sheepishly inquired about Steve Earle. she smiled and described him as "Wonderful" and "comitted" to abolishing the death penalty.
she was funny humble informed and authentic.

like being in the presence of a future Saint.

tomorrow a local blues guy only because the local blues owner came from retirement to opening an old new venue and invited me to the retirement grand opening.
next week, hippiefest, with edger and johnny winter, leslie west and mr simmond from savoy brown. should be a good guitar nite.
thereafter, a new incarnation, the royal southern brotherhood with devon allman, mike zito and cyril neville. should be an interesting evening with these folks conjoining their muses

manshank wrote:So the Wilco show was good. Probably the last time I see them though. I dunno know maybe it was cause it was outside but they did not seem to bring it. Niel guy can play, looked like he was getting electrocuted on some songs, but give me back the old Wilco.................
i feel ya. wish it were possible that it was a more simple affair, this Wilco thing. gosh darn it...............
