John K. Samson (The Weakerthans, Propogandhi) opening for Craig Finn (The Hold Steady, Lifter Puller) at City Winery Atlanta on Sat., October 14. Two of our greatest living writers on the same stage. Should be a special night.

derekf wrote:Thank you, Tim. We'll make it to at least one of these, probably Six Feet Under if for no other reason than the name of the place.
You won't be disappointed. Six Feet Under has a great atmosphere, great beer on tap, etc. I recommend the blackened shrimp tacos, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you have a chance to walk around Oakland Cemetery before or after you eat, that's also well worth it. Beautiful place. Burial grounds of Margaret Mitchell ('Gone with the Wind'), Bobby Jones (golfer), and Benjamin Franklin White (shape-note singing master and compiler of The Sacred Harp shape-note hymnal).
