Bad news for the Jets and the Saints.

The New York Post is reporting that Jets WR Braylon Edwards was arrested this morning for DWI. He reportedly tested at twice the legal limit. Definitely ungood. Keep an eye on how this develops as he reportedly is still in custody.

For the Saints, it's not official yet but the buzz is that Reggie Bush's injury from last night is a broken fibula bone in his leg. If that's the case, the time table for return would be about 6 weeks. This is NOT official yet though.

I'm pretty much done with all things New Orleans. I don't even want to go there anymore. I can't recall ever being this ambivalent about professional American football. Heck, I don't even have a team...when did this happen? Any ideas on who my team should be? Saints, Pats and Cowboys are out. Chiefs are out as well. Hmmm, maybe the Texans?

I think the Bucs are a bit better and this make me happy. Lets not get crazy though. They beat the Browns, who are just a bad football team and the Panthers, who will probably end up firing their coach. If the Bucs win 6 games this year they should feel good about themselves.

Once again the Rams are brutal. Some signs of life with Bradford and SJ but both lines are overmatched week after week. Until that is fixed Spags better keep his contacts open to return as a D coordinator somewhere. I just hope our O-line doesn't get Bradford hurt.

Pittsburgh comes to now next week, with their 3rd string QB.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up for a 3 - 0 start...

It's only one win but still it was hard fought and very welcome after last week against Ballmer.

His ankle is 100%, he's slimmed down, and he's looking for linebackers and safeties.....to run over.

I have the over and under on actual home football games shown on TV in Tampa Bay at 1....maybe 2 if we are really lucky.

So much for that fucking 75,000 person waiting list.

Los Angeles Rams, baby! We haven't heard much from them for many seasons but this is their year. You heard it here first: L. A. Rams and Baltimore Colts in the Super Bowl.
