I am having a hard time with the Rays dropping their first 5, even though they lost a bunch of key players. I think I am more surprised with the Red Sox losing their first 5 though. I am watching them take on the Indians today. Could it go to 6?

Rays are two out as well. Pitching looks good but bats have been silent. And for the record I have never been a fan Johnny Damon.

Love this time of year. Spring and unrealistic expectations.
I tend to love younger teams and players...what I see is Atlanta with Kimbrel, Venters, Minor, Beachy, Hanson, Freeman and Heyward...they'll be good for years and Brandon Belt is a LH 1B with the sweetest swing...looks like a 23 year old Adrian Gonzalez...wow. Couple him with Posey and Bumgardner...makes that enemy up north viable. Dodgers have a few studs later this year making an impact like Jerry Sands and Rubby De La Rosa...hoping Kemp and Ethier have career years. Kershaw delivers the goods fo shizzle.

Opening day in the Tampa Bay area is today. I won't be going but happy to see it's a sell out. I think quite a few people might be going just to boo the govenor though. The Rays got rid of quite a few fan favorites, but their starting rotation is really good with a combined payroll of 8 million dollars. Look out for the Rays and Merlot Joe.
