Nice area for drinking and dining. Mark Spencer lives around that area, so you guys can meet up for a drink and bond.

New Yorkers: anyone familiar with Brooklyn?

I have found a place to stay in Brooklyn while in NY for the City Winery shows. The location may be Flatbush? Ocean Ave. across from Prospect Park between the Prospect Park and Parkside subway stops. Just wondering if this area is nice. I stayed in Ditmas Park last year and that was ok.
Thanks for any input, and see you in a month!
