Annie actually mentions she'd like to do something like Shannon's live album with more electric guitar and her agent says yeah maybe a cross between that and Wilco's AM. They never referenced Shannon playing on AM. I went back and watched that part three times.

I've heard Chilton lived in the Garden District, at least when he passed. Can't see Jay hanging out on Bourbon too much. Frenchman & Carrolton seem more his speed. or maybe he hung out in the Nine Inch Nails studio on Magazine. The mystery continues

Tweedy's publicist hard at work.
That was my first thought anyway....

Steve Zahn, the music geek? I stopped watching that show. I sorta lost interest. Maybe i should revisit? Simon set the bar high with the Wire. It's hard to compete with the low rises of West Baltimore.

On the third episode of Treme , third season, calling out around the world, here's a brand new fraud to speak:
They reference Wilco's AM as some sort of benchmark...
Annie references Shannon McNally's first cd, and then the SLEAZY AGENT says something about Shannon and Wilco ...
You know Shannon sang on Son Volt's "The Search" -- Highways and Cigarettes to be exact. She never sang on a Wilco rekkid.
Classic New Orleans story-telling,
