Sounds great, Trellis. There's A lot of good, old-school country & western coming outta Canada these days. Have you listened to Daniel Romano? Strongly recommended.

Thanks!

I know it's too late, but I've found a2012 song, Night Garden by Nick Ferrio and His Feelings. There's a link to it in the top right hand corner of his web page, http://www.nickferrio.com/

Also, there's an excellent review of his stuff from No Depression:

Anyway, if you take a minute to listen, I think you'll enjoy his old country style.

I would like to recommend to you an album called The Rough And Rynge by Christian Kjellvander, the singer of Loosegoats. Really cool stuff

Did you follow the rule for the order of the songs from last year?

If you did, it's uncanny the feeling of passing time on this board.

An excellent bit of order and songs.

Real Galloping Sport Pony

p.s. Probably asked this question before.
For the most part the tracks are in the order they were sent to me.

Apologies if this was already mentioned, but I just discovered that this Denver bunch is a side project of Blitzen Trapper. Fantastic stuff!

These guys are phenomenal! Had never heard of them until today.
It's a great album. One of my favorites this year.
Yeah, I just grabbed it this morning. Fantastic!

Looks like they got vinyl and a Roadhouse inspired video too.

Haha, i was listening to the compilation and the thought one of the tracks sounded remarkably similar to Christian Kjellvander and then I saw it was his band Loosegoats on there!

Great stuff gdavis!

I dig the Lucero track. Splitter is a great Calexico track, but I've also been digging Fortune Teller off the new album a whole lot
