Woops - didn't mean to step on any toes (hence the " "). MP3s are fine for soundclips and are easy to download. I just prefer .wav or lossless compressed files when it comes to music that I want to preserve. I burn the files to CDs as .wav to be able to play them on any of my CDplayers (and for collecting-purposes). If I was to keep them on my computer, MP3s are great for saving space and the difference in sound quality is hard/almost impossible to hear. However, I would still prefer to keep the original .flac or .shn files...

Hopefully no hard feelings!

Cheers,

Morten

Hey, what's wrong with converting to MP3? I mean, you lose some quality, yeah, but not much with 192 kbps bitrate (which I use) and it's so much smaller and easier to use!

I'm having trouble keeping a straight face when people starts talking about converting to MP3...

Etree seems to be down or something, I can't get the torrent file, nevermind actually getting on the torrent. Damn, I would love to have this file.

Is this one gone? I must have been sleeping in class, 'cause I missed this one when announced. Tried to DL it tonight, but now I've been 'connecting to peers' for 2 hours (tracker says there are seeds...). I guess I'll just give up. Was it any good?

Thanks man. Sounds good... been on the PCT for 37 days (just completed Oregon south-to-north and popped out from Cascade Locks to Portland to get some real food and drink. Bringing the cd player for Washington-to-Canada and this will be going with me... :D
