Yes, he did the country music joke. I guess that it is a staple of the show now. :-)

Mark's Creston sounded really nice as well. Good guitar tone all around.

Tiny E!
Dave Bryson is off drums for new baby.
His sub played LA barefoot and did a sweet job.
Drown is the guitar classic that must be in the set list to liven it up.
Did Gary do the country music joke?.

Very good show in Solana Beach - great mix of old and new tunes. Although, Jay must be tired of playing 'Windfall' and 'Tear Stained Eye' by now. :-)

I was slightly surprised to hear 'Drown' but got a good number of the casual fans to pay attention instead of talking to their buddies.

Jay's voice sounded very strong and he was in command the whole show.

Col Ford was very good and my wife really enjoyed them as well (she commented on much Gary really seemed to enjoy playing guitar). I guess I don't get the joke of "Do you guys like country music? We don't..".

I guess I've been out of the loop but there is a new (at least to me) drummer. Is that a permanent replacement? The kid looked road-weary but did a good job.

All in all, a very good time.
