Four of the greatest live albums of all-time:
1) Johnny Cash -- "At Folsom Prison"
-- Beyond description. Absolutely the single best live recording ever.
2) Townes Van Zandt -- "Live at the Old Quarter, Houston, Texas"
-- As one reviewer writes, this is poetry in its purest form. Lovely and understated and complex and timeless. Only Cash's above tops this in terms of live recordings of all-time.
3) Greg Brown -- "The Live One"
-- perfect combo of heartbreakingly beautiful songs and witty banter.
4) John Prine -- "John Prine Live"
-- same as Greg Brown above, only with even more humor
