If anybody spies a Mark Spencer reply be sure to ask him to update his blog! Would love to know if he's touring this summer etc... I don't have time for Facebook so rarely look there for anything.

When people ask me for a great example of 'organic amp/guitar tone' I always direct them to the Cocaine and Ashes live that Jay and Mark did... that Creston with Harmonic Design Z90's into a 5E3 circuit is pretty iconic!
Of course having the touch to exploit it helps too certainly

if you're lucky Mark Spencer might chime in.
i wish there was more info as well. much like
Monkey Gunner's diatribe on poor materials,
i'm slightly disappointed about the lack o info
printed or published about the Jay and Co. work.
it seems we only have the option of wondering
or being lucky enough to have one of our minstrels
divulge this interesting information.

American Central Dust recording info?

Anybody have an idea where any published reports of various equipment used in this recording can be found? Many wonderful organic tones abound, I've searched hi & lo to no avail...being a builder of amps I'm especially after guitar and amp details; live shows seem to show a wide cross section of guitars but what's used in studios and taken on the road are usually different animals...

TIA-
