the space junk is garbage. Jay definitely needs to have someone edit his cds going forward. I would be happy to do it. There is another brilliant Jay Farrar cd somewhere in this album but it is surrounded with noise and experimentation that, in my opinion, will not hold up over time. I would argue that is doesn't hold up now. I have to fast forward through 5 or 6 songs on this cd but that still leaves a great batch of songs. :P

This will be special. I always liked the version with Hornsby. Trey can play but it dosent talk to me like Jerrys did. So much feeling (except at the end) with Jerrys playing....................God I miss him

I did get to see the late great Jerry in '90, and it was good.
I wasn't a huge Head, but those concerts were magical.
never was into Phish and have seen them only once live.

I can only imagine this will be a huge event but won't live up to the hype, although it might be fun (and hot) in Chicago on the 4th of July.

We got a cool show with Jackie Greene, Bobby and Chris Robinson a few years back, all acoustic, that was enjoyable, but Weir is on the skids I think.

I have no interest in seeing Dead minus Jerry. It was bad enough when he was just barely there.

Dead @50

who put in their mail order today for the Chicago shows?

nothing else to talk about here except some Jay shows next month... crossing fingers he's been writing and will debut some new material then.
