Correction. The album was released on Jan. 17, 1975. A Friday.

I listen to Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks" from start to finish four or five times a year. A tremendous album in every way. If not mistaken, the record was released 40 years ago this month.

Not unlike the post about Physical Graffiti, I am too young to have appreciated a lot of his work when it was new, but I am so much richer for knowing it now.
