Just bought my pass to the Nashville show. I'll be making the drive from Atlanta on Sunday and staying at a cheap hotel that night near the airport. Now that I've forked over all this cash, Jay will probably announce an Atlanta show tomorrow

I hope there's a deluxe/box version, with vinyl, CDs, booklet, tshirt etc. I'd pay up for it!

The tour just added Austin, TX., Nov. 13, according to the Son Volt Facebook page. I am hoping for some Midwestern dates to follow.

This is great news. Can not wait.

See you at the Troubadour.

I can't believe I'm gonna hear him do " Out Of The Picture "

Firemen save,
a Millionaire's mansion(s)
and when it's done,
they sleep on the side of the road.

I'd love to see Jay pick up the Gretsch and turn it up and I'm thinking on some of the songs he will. Whatever direction he wants to go in I'm okay with it. I think it's going to be a real special night and on top of that there's Eric Heywood!!

PLEASE add a drummer and play this album full throttle. I don't want to hear the acoustic guitar and fiddle version!
