My wife and I saw Gillian and Dave at the Franklin Theatre Tuesday night. It was their first time at this venue and they put on an amazing show to a very respectful (yet enthusiastic) crowd.
They bantered with the audience much more so than in the past it seemed. Both mentioned that they were "nervous" because of it being their first time there and that it sold out immediately on the day of pre-sale.
Dave Rawlings is a virtuoso on the guitar. I never cease to be amazed at how talented and original he is. He makes it look so effortless.
Anyhow, I just wanted to share my enthusiasm. If you haven't seen them before and get the chance, you should do so.
