I watched their streamed Farm Aid set live last weekend and it was incredible. The band is really complimenting Neil and he was out of his mind angry/intense. Can't wait to see them in a few weeks.
They kicked ass at the show I saw. KICKED ASS. Neil was having so much fun. He wanted to keep playing but alas a curfew. As it was he played 15 minutes over and I thought they were going to pull the plug.
Plus he gave our state $100,000 to help with legal cost against the law suit.
I declared it his worse album (worse that Fork In The Road) upon it's release but it's growing on me some after I bought tickets for San Diego next month and spun it a bunch more.
Got the album with tickets to see Neil at Red Rocks this summer. There wasn't much on it that grabbed me beyond Workin' Man. Live it was a different story. Workin' Man was great, but so too were Wolf Moon, New Day for Love, People Want to Hear about Love and Monsanto Years. I've got it in the car, but don't spin it very often. Still listen to assloads of old Neil and Sleeps with Angels all the time.
